Description:
The nature of the work is focused on short-term or long-term business direction, goals, processes, and purchases.
- General Analysis: Develops strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.
- Strategic Business Planning Process: Drive a planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met. Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy.
- Measurement: Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3-year Strategic Plan at the Regional Level, and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated; Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law + 8 yrs; Masters + 9 yrs; Associates degree + 11 yrs; High School + 12 yrs.
- Consulting experience with Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC a plus
